Dom Polski and Jasna Góra Residential Care Homes

The Society of Christ’s residential care homes in Manchester and Huddersfield provide 24 hour care for the elderly whose failing physical and mental health means that they can no longer care for themselves.

Residents are admitted for:

  • long term residency
  • day care
  • respite care
  • convalescent care

The Christian principle love thy neighbour underpins our philosophy of care with choice, dignity, diversity, equality, independence, privacy and rights as our core values.

Although our care homes have a Polish and Catholic identity we successfully care for residents from a rich variety of backgrounds, and this diversity enables us to celebrate the uniqueness of every human being.

Residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible, to make their own decisions, to shape their well-being and quality of life, supported by staff who truly love and respect them.

Our residents and their families and friends form part of our residential care homes family and participate in decisions about the care provided, quality of life, our priorities and plans.

Our residential care homes have developed an enviable reputation in the North West and North East regions and beyond - not only in Polish communities, but also with medical and health care professionals who witness first-hand and commend the high level of person-centred care and quality of life we provide.
